About the project

Learning cryptography can be sometimes overwhelming. Many individuals often give up early while learning cryptography because they cannot seem to understand the mathematics behind the algorithms.
Cipher Insight is a web application designed to help students and cryptography enthusiasts with a comprehensive set of tools and resources. Our application aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in cryptography.

What's Different?

Although there are several platforms and tools exist online to facilitate learning cryptography. However, these resources lack comprehensive step by step solutions which is needed when you are a beginner. Our application provides beginner friendly solution and explanation for these algorithms.
This project builds upon existing work in the field while addressing the need for a comprehensive, efficient, and accessible platform for cryptography education and exploration.

How it all started

It all started with our final-year computer science projects. The project was initiated by Mohit Panthri in 2024 out of a curiosity for cryptography. The team decided to give it the name “Cipher Insight”.
We wanted to help students who face difficulty in learning cryptography algorithms. So, we decided to make a web app which provides step by step solutions of cryptography problems.
